Marble Paper

We diluted some generic acrylic paint 1 part paint and 3 parts water. Drops of this mix will suspend in a vat of carrageenan. You can then create a pattern on the surface of the carrageenan. Each droplet spreads out into the 'cell' like structures pictured below. You can then use combs or bamboo reeds to create a 'marble' structure. Once you have the colors and pattern that you desire, you press the paper on the carrageenan. This prints onto the paper, as pictued below.
